Aaron Chipp-Miller
Biography
Aaron Chipp-Miller is a political philosopher whose primary research centers on two questions: the normative significance of some people having power over others, and what this implies for how social institutions such as states and firms should be structured.
Beyond this, his research interests range widely across value theory, including agency and responsibility, animal ethics, compensation, and the grounds of moral equality.
He received his PhD in Philosophy from University of California San Diego in 2026. His work has appeared in The Journal of Ethics, Moral Philosophy and Politics, Utilitas, and The Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Work. For more, see aaronchippmiller.com.
